REGULATION TO AUTHENTICATE AND TO INCLUDE FRANCO ANGELI'S ARTWORKS TO THE ARCHIVE
It is recommended to attach the bank transfer receipt and all tax data to the listed below materials for the billing.
The Archive can start the Artwork assessment only if the sent documentation is complete.
To authenticate the Artworks it is necessary to send to the Franco Angeli Archive – Via di S. Pantaleo 66, 00186 Roma:
- No.3 color prints (18x24 cm approx. sized) of the front face of the Artwork;
- No.1 color print (18x24 cm approx. sized) of the back of the Artwork;
- No.1 color print of the detail, if there is signature or there are autograph - inscriptions on the back side of the work;
- Authentication Form correctly filled in all its part;
- It could be also required by the Archive the exhibition of the original Artwork;
- Receipt of the bank transfer made in favour of:

- Fiscal data of the invoice holder (Name, Surname, Address, VAT number and/or tax code)
The contribution charges to be paid for the examination of the Artwork and its eventual inclusion to the Archive and the contextual issuing of its Declaration of Authenticity is of:

This contribution must be paid in any case before the meeting of the Technical Committee.
If the provided photos are not sufficient for the Artwork assessment, it is to Franco Angeli Archive's discretion to require the direct analysis of the Artwork, together with the Authentication Form filled in all its part, by the seat of the Archive, or in other seat that the Archive will communicate.
For the analysis of the Artwork for the possible inclusion to the Franco Angeli Archive and the issuing of the Declaration, expressed by Mrs. Maria Angeli and which attests the Authenticity of the Artwork, it is necessary at least a 15 days' period from the day of reception of the required material, or, where it was requested, after having examined the Artwork.
Franco Angeli Archive will retain the Artwork as long as necessary for the Technical Committee to make the expertise. The Applicant must withdraw the Artwork soon after the examination and, in any case, in the same day of the analysis. In case of non-withdrawal, the Archive will be exonerated, to the maximum extent allowed by the law, as regards the housing of the Artwork, and the Archive may impose a penalty of 100 Euros per day for each day of delay in withdrawing it. The penalty will be paid by the Applicant.
Each Declaration of Authenticity of the Artwork will be issued in written form by Mrs. Maria Angeli, as Franco Angeli's heir and entitled by law to protect his moral right, and only after the unanimous opinion expressed by the Archive Technical Committee. Otherwise, Mrs Maria Angeli will communicate to the Applicant, by oral or written form, her impossibility to release the Declaration of Authenticity and, consequently, to include the Artwork to the Archive.
The Artwork will be included to the aforementioned Archive and, related with it, will be issued a Declaration of Authenticity by Mrs. Maria Angeli only if there is any doubt on its authenticity.
The Applicant agrees to accept Mrs. Maria Angeli's response concerning the Authenticity of the Artwork presented or concerning the lack of attribution of authorship to Franco Angeli to the Artwork.
The Applicant then irrevocably renounces, to the maximum extent allowed by the law, to do any claim and/or to take any legal action against Mrs. Maria Angeli and/or against Franco Angeli Archive and/or against the members of the Technical Committee in relation to the refusal to issue the Declaration of Authenticity or to include the Artwork to the Franco Angeli Archive.
In case of supervened information, the Archive and Mrs. Maria Angeli reserve themselves the right to modify the assessment about an Artwork previously examined.
The Artwork which has been recognized as authentic will be included to the Franco Angeli Archive that has the copyright and the right to publish the Artwork or, according to the instructions given by the owner and to the indication of the same property, to allow third parties to reproduce or to publish it for any purpose.
The transferring of an Artwork to third parties must be communicated by the owner to the Archive so as to allow the updating of all possessed data concerning it.
